Why do we need this system? With the common use of 90mm PVC stormwater pipe in domestic properties, to the use of polyethylene pipe in commercial applications has meant that the traditional way of clearing pipes does not always provide a result.
At last we are able to clear up 90mm pipe as well as additional capabilities with all pipes up to 225mm.

Introducing The Hydro Jet Solution

What is hydro-jetting? It is the cleaning of drains with a high pressure water jet at up to 35,000kpa. This is accomplished by feeding a self propelled hose with a specifically designed nozzle up the drain.

Instead of just boring a hole through the tree roots and breaking some off, the jets of high pressure water will cut roots and leave the walls of the pipe clean.

There are many places an electric eel cannot go where a jetter hose travels with ease and does the job more effectively and efficiently. We have a variety of nozzles for use in 40mm to 225mm pipes with the ability to pull through toilet pans and tight PVC gully traps.

Hydro-jetting is the only method of cleaning storm water drains blocked by silt and sediment build up. An electric eel will simply bore through the dirt in the drain leaving the dirt behind when the rods are retrieved. The hydro-jet method penetrates the dirt and flushes the drain in one action, leaving the drain clean.

Electric eels — now over 35 years old — cannot be used effectively in 90mm stormwater drains due to the acute angles of the fittings. Our hydro-jet machine is able to negotiate these fittings and thoroughly clean 90mm drains.

With the use of this equipment, there is now an alternative to resorting to the shovel after finding that the eel could not penetrate the blockage. The machine is compact and powerful and very successful when used correctly for cleaning commercial and residential drainage lines.
